Eighteen narrow slightly flared back satin sections, pointed at base; pleated at back to waistand fastening CB with ties; seams, and bottom edged of each section, piped blue satin; border at base of blue satin quilted in small lozenge pattern; trailing leaf pattern embroidered in blue silk worked in chain stitch at bottom edge of black satin; blue and black satin button above in the centre of each section; black woollen braid inside hem edge.
