Summary

Green velvet lined with cream silk, sleeves lined with white linen. Fronts each in one section with two darts for bust, fastening with seven hooks and eyes to round neck with standing collar, with four green silk buttons on left side between collar and ribbon waistband; back in three sections; long full sleeves in one section gathered on to shoulder and gathered between elbow and wrist beneath five bias bands of green silk with double piped edges; collar edge, shoulder and back seams piped; fronts each trimmed with two bias strips of green silk parallel with front edge, with piping at inner edge; four buttons near waist each side; four buttons near waist CB; ribbon tie attached inside back of waistband.
