Summary

Wholestraw plait, lined white plain weave silk. Tall conical crown with round base, sewn spirally from centre. Crown trimmed 3 parallel rows of wide navy velvet ribbon. 2 large velvet bows at left side and a white bird's wing stuck between the bows sticking up above the top of crown. Edge of brim faced with black corded silk. Remnants of elastic loop at either side.
