Oatmeal long-haired felt. Lined with black plain weave silk. Wired round edge and bound with ruched dark violet-blue velvet extending to face underside of brim. Crown trimmed with wide band of draped velvet round left side and band of royal blue silk and cotton satin round right side, tying in bw at centre back and in compound knot spreading to cover brim at centre front.
