Summary

Velvet in 2 shades of navy, stiffened with buckram. Lined with black silk. Sides covered by band of twisted velvet tying in large bow at each side, points of left side wired and upright. Orangey-brown ostrich feather at centre back, curling round front to left back. Pleated frill of navy velvet (less violet than rest of hat).
