Summary

Dark brown fibre braid. Lined with chestnut plain weave silk. Brim, double wired on underside, trimmed with 2 rows of undulating fancy fibre braid forming scalloped edging. Dark brown corded silk ribbon folded round back of crown, red fabric flower at right back and large brown ostrich feather, red at tips, curving round front from right to left back. Large flat bow of brown silk ribbon at centre back underside.
