Summary

Dark brown chip plait with sharply purled edge, dark brown silk chiffon. Lined with black paper. Wide flat brim. Crown covered with silk, flat at left and fullness draped loosely over right side. Right front of crown top, and join of crown and brim all round, trimmed with pink and green fabric heather. Brim wired and faced with pleated silk ruched along outer edge.
