Summary
Pale pink silk crepe chiffon, wholestraw plait. Lined with white silk. Crown with 2 layers of crepe over buckram, squashed in irregularly. Very slightly turned down brim, wired at edge, extended all round by band of straw plait, also wired. Brim faced with crepe. Line of pale pink fabric wild roses round crown, extending irregularly over crown and brim. Flat bow of grey-blue velvet ribbon on left side brim, crossing to underside at centre back and hold in bow at right back underside. Stiffened crepe inside headband trimmed with fabric petals all round and 2 roses at right back.
