Summary

Black velour. Lined with black silk. Soft crown extending into brim turned down at back and sides and up at front, centre front trimmed with torpedo shaped motif entirely worked with tiny glass and facetted metal beads, chiefly in pink and green on a dark background. Black corded silk ribbon round base of crown twisted at right side and held in flat bow at left. Black velvet inside headband.
