Summary

A still life painting depicting a full bloom of flowers in yellow, mauve, pale green, light blue and pink. The single-handled jug containing the flowers is painted in a dark hunters green colour. In the background there is a table with a vividly patterned table-cloth, mimicking the forms and colours of the flowers. Both are represented in an expressionist style with bold brushwork and pronounced painterly strokes. The vase sits on a small side table covered with a light mint-green table cloth.
