Summary
Black satin and lace. Crown of lace over wire framework. Horizontal wires beneath bands of narrow ribbon round crown, double ribbon at base. Brim, broad at sides, narrowing to crown, back and front, black silk, stiffened with edging and turnup brim of lace, brim stiffened with ribbon covered wire, sewn back to crown centre back and front. Metal pin in form of arrow with diamante shaft at centre front.
