Summary

Purple felt with pale turquoise ribbon bow. Small crown pleated in front and stitched inside to be flat on top with ridge round front and side edges, back extending to form tab fitting back of head and widening towards base cut in 2 scallops. Crescent-shaped brim sewn on front and sides, stiffened with wire and with standing strip and narrow looped strips of felt sewn round edge. Narrow felt strip sewn on junction between crown and brim, ends extending to cross at back and turn inside brim. Narrow band to fit round head passing through loops at corner of tab at back of head and fastened beneath junction of brim and crown in front. Purple rayon band inside. Pale turquoise ribbon bow sewn on to back tab.
