Summary
Black fibre in fancy weave, lined with black buckram. Round fairly flat crown continuous with wide brim. Brim turned back and the edge hemmed to crown, fullness forming a series of vertical pleats. Separate stiffened lining sewn underneath brim with black corded band at inner edge to fit head. Pin stuck into crown, head covered with black woven fibre.
