Summary
Quilted petticoat. Altered in the 19th century. Pale green silk, finely corded and quilted, lined with dark green glazed wool (callamanca). Silk in five widths, with join near top in front, wool in four widths with one straight narrow section, gathered at sides and back on to later waistband fastening at CB; quilted in fine diagonal trellis design, with border of lozenges with various fillings.
