Summary

Quilted petticoat or underskirt. Pink silk satin, lined with fawn twilled cotton closely gathered at back on to tape band, fastening CB; top half of back and sides, fawn cotton, continuous with lining; satin quilted with small lozenge design except for uneven strip outlining cotton section; small pocket in RB seam near top, opening strengthened brocaded and figured silk; tape ties across back inside with a second pair of ties running through band to tie at centre.
