Summary

Quilted petticoat. Red cotton printed with paisley design, lined with fawn twilled cotton. Front and back each in one section; pleated at back on to wide shaped waistband; fastening CB with two buttons; padded with down from eight 20.3cms from top, with eight horizontal lines of stitching above hem, slightly closer together towards hem; hem faced with brown twilled cotton, bound with red braid. Probably not filled with feathers but with lambswool or flock; lining is not the down proof cotton usually used, also note weight.
