Summary

Bodice of twilled cotton, skirt of plain cotton with woven cording; wide low neck, no sleeves; bodice front in one section dart each side converging towards waist, back in one section each side of fastening with four linen buttons, straight waistband dipping slightly at CF, edges piped and bound; skirt front in one straight section, lower half corded with thick cords at 4 inch intervals with finer cording between, back in one section similar to front but with upper half also finely corded, gathered to waist, piped pocket slit in right seam; hem faced with twilled cotton.
