Summary

White cotton; hand sewn; four widths gathered to shaped yoke in two sections fastening at CB with tape ties, one passing through slot on opposite side, and tying at front; yoke dipping to point at CF, slot in CF seam, buttonhole in skirt immediately below point (just above hole worn in material); five wide tucks above hem, openwork embroidery edging. Marked in ink at front of yoke: "E. Watt / 1855".
