Fine white cotton, trimmed with course 'maltese' type lace; hand sewn; front in straight section, the rest in two sections flared towards CB; opening at right side front fastening with three small pearl buttons, drawstrings at CB, waist edge piped, dipping sharply at CF; hem trimmed frill edged narrow tucks; deep flounce edged frill with lace border under deeper flounce starting more than half-way up skirt; upper flounce trimmed with two lace bordered frills below band of tucks and feather-stitching between two lace insertions, feather-stitching also on upper frill; flounce set on with narrow insertion.
