Cut in three sections in front, one width across back, drawstring at waist at back, gathering fullness across back only; pleated frill round hem; in front section, deep flounce of diagonal bands alternately of lace and white openwork embroidery, edged with lace; across back, three horizontal flounces edged with with openwork insertion and lace; marked in red cross stitch: 'A.C.T.'
