Summary

White cotton. Bodice extends to hips, front in three shaped sections rising to point each side for shoulder straps (vertical dart at underarm a later alteration) back in three shaped sections with straight upper edge; left side seam open from underarm to hip for 27cm. White metal 'Lightning' zip fastener; narrow straight section gathered onto bodice at hip with another straight section gathered onto its lower edge; narrow border broderie anglaise at neck edge, deep border round hem (purchased in Spain). Worn with DRESS 1970.151/3.
