Summary
Silk crepe (crepe de chine). Four sections with back opening fastening with four mother-of-pearl buttons, extra button and buttonhole on waistband, short darts each side and each side of back opening, four hand run tucks above deep border of lace over scalloped edge of silk, lace with scalloped frilling at top; bottom and centre of lace band with cream bows and one blue bow, attached and connecting with six applied motifs of ribbon embroidery, a basket of flowers in cream, blue, pink and green, blue ribbon at hem and binding edge of silk under lace, two loops inside waistband.
