Summary

Public: Oval medallion, stoneware, solid white jasper with dark blue dip and lilac dips and applied white relief decoration of 'Muses watering Pegasus on Helicon'. Private: Oval plaque decorated in white relief with classical scene of Pegasus, the winged horse, standing in shallow water being bathed by three Muses, against a ground of mid-blue dip. White relief anthemion border separates this from outer border of lilac dip. Blue dip on reverse.
