Summary

This is a scene of horse dealers at a sale, which is painted in thick blocks of flat colour. A large horse is walked round an indoor paddock by a man in a flat cap and white jacket, with another man in the enclosure behind the horse. On the other side of the railings four men in long overcoats and hats stand watching or talking: three on left, and one on right leaning on railings.
