Summary

Floppy frilled hat: Crown made for a large circle gathered in to fit head. Brim made from a doubled strip of fabric gathered in. Join hidden by a narrow band, and crown decorated at side by two fabric rosettes. Hat lined with cream sateen, with narrow velvet band to fit crown, and navy ribbons to tie under chin. All hand stitched: probably home made.
