Summary

White linen, white crocheted cotton border. White diamond shaped piece of linen, decorated around the edges with a very narrow strip of cut work, and a hand sewn hem. Around the edges for this, the diamond is formed into a large square by a deep border of crochet work, with a design of butterflies in a geometric pattern. The edges are scalloped. The crochet is hand sewn to the linen centrepieces. Accessioned as 1982.769 for some time.
