Summary

Circular plaque with polished, bevelled edge, decorated in white relief against a ground of lilac dip, with three classical figures, Hygeia seated with a serpent in her hand, accompanied by two nymphs standing before a pedestal altar, making a sacrifice. Guilloche and simple leafy borders in white relief separate this from outer border of plain blue dip. Uneven blue dip on reverse. Loose, ill-fitting gilt metal frame with ring at top
