Summary

White cotton net bodice jacket trimmed white satin picot edged ribbon; fronts each in one section shaped with 2 darts and flared below waist at sides, fastening to high neck with 9 silk thread covered buttons; back in three shaped sections flared below waist; bodice backed with stiff muslin; white cotton lining to waist with low neck; silk fringe and two rows of ribbon forming point just above centre back waist, running over shoulders and forming point at centre front; basque edged three rows of ribbon and frill of net with ribbon in hem; full sleeves and undersleeves gathered to short straight section of muslin at upper arm; undersleeves gathered into three puffs have 10 very narrow ribbons runnins from top to bottom attached between puffs, ruched ribbon at wrists fastening with button; elbow length sleeves dipping to point at back trimmed three rows of ribbon, short straight oversleeve trimmed one row of ribbon.
