The Theatre Royal, Peter Street.

Hughson Hawley 1850 - 1936

Summary

A large stone building in the centre, and taking up most of the image. The building has "THEATRE ROYAL ERECTED 1845" carved into the stone above the columns. A raised, arched pediemtn completes the theatre's facade. The entrance is covered by a shelter which stretches from the building, out, and over the pavement. On the right is a man with a horse and cart. People are walking along the pavements.
