The Old Infirmary, Manchester

Hugh Paton 1853 - 1927

Summary

View looking at the front of the old Infirmary at Piccadilly, Manchester. This imposing building, with its domed clocktower, is seen from the end of a street, and warehouse-type buildings frame the view. Four fluted columns support a triangular pediment above the entrance. Three horses and carts can be seen on the road in front of the infirmary's railings. This building was demolished in 1909-10.
