Summary

To the left of a view of the river Thames a white cottage is surrounded by white railings and various nautical objects. To the right a grey quayside curves round, leading across to a promenade peopled with tiny figures. In the distance to the right can be seen a large steamer and other vessels rigged in the manner of Thames sailing barges.
