Oval plaque of solid pale blue jasper with slightly convex front surface. Applied relief decoration of left side profile, head and shoulders portrait of Queen Elizabeth, Consort to George VI, in white, with high relief laurel border to plaque edge. Indentation towards top of reverse side, to allow for two pierced hanging holes through top edge.
