Summary

Calm coastal view of the old harbour at St.Ives, Cornwall. The scene looks over the roofs of red brick houses and onto the sands of the harbour at low tide. A number of small sailing boats are moored on the sands to the left of a long stone walled jetty and lighthouse. Dense buildings are grouped together in the background, and beyond, a small building stands upon a hill.
