Summary

A harbour scene with fishing boats. In the foreground is part of the getty on which a wooden structure is positioned with a fishing net hanging from it, partly obscuring the scene behind. Two fishing boats are tethered to the getty while five other boats can be seen out in the water. The closest of these boats is in the lower centre of the composition and has a figure seated in it. In the background can be seen the other side of the harbour where there are large buildings and boat houses. The sky above is grey and stormy.
