Spring at Nayland, Suffolk
Summary
View across rolling hills of Nayland, Suffolk. There is a steep slope in the foreground to the right lined with small, bare trees, and a flat plain in the middle ground to the left. There is a hillside in the background divided into fields by narrow hedgerows and trees. The colours of the trees are bright pink with yellow fields and blue/green vegetation. This accentuating of tones relates to new Spring growth. The scene is impressionistic both in colour use and paint application.
