Flowers in Sunlight

Emily Beatrice Bland 1864 - 1951

Summary

A glass vase full of colourful flowers on a white and orange patterned tablecloth. Next to the vase there is a smaller bowl of fruit. The subjects are placed in front of a large window through which a tree, a wide river and the buildings of a town or city can be seen. The cream colours of the right hand curtain and tabletop are punctuated by the bright, multi-coloured flowers and fruit.
