Summary
Striped silk cocktail ensemble, in ochre and gold spaced stripes on cream. Blouse with pagoda sleeves, very wide collar and half circular 'pocket' across bust, all edged in narrow gold braid; fastening to mid chest with 6 gold metal buttons; matching wrap around lined skirt; labelled: Bill gibb, London; top 12 and skirt 14. Bill Gibb started his label in 1971 and opened his first retail store in 1975. He had short-lived but phenominal success until 1979.
