Public: Part tea service, white earthenware, comprising high tazza, low cake plate and six plates, all transfer-printed in underglaze blue with pattern of blossoming tree, with gilt edged rims. Private: Part tea service, white earthenware, comprising tazza on high spreading foot, cake stand on low everted foot, and six plates, each with upward curved rim and shallow footring. Plate surfaces and tazza foot decorated with underglaze transfer-printed blue and white pattern of five-petalled blossoms on gnarled tree trunk and spindly branches, within gilt-edged rim and printed border of flowerheads, border and gilt edge repeated around foot of cake stand. Finely crazed glaze.
