Summary

Three-quarter length, left side portrait of a young woman of Spanish or South American origin with thick long dark hair falling over her shoulders, wearing a lemon yellow floral print dress. She is seated with her hands resting in her lap, her head turned slightly toward the viewer with a sly expression. She wears a long black scarf round her head which falls beyond her shoulders, and holds a bracelet of coloured beads in her hand, along with a pair of long, white gloves. There is a rich, red mottled background.
