The Window

Thomas Carr 1909 - 1999

Summary

A hazy interior scene where a woman and small child in an armchair are viewed from behind, looking towards a tall sash window, through which wrought iron of balcony can be seen. There is a suggestion of red curtains framing the window, and a red footstool in the bottom left. The scene through the window is too indistinct to be described, but is blue in colour. The child holds something yellow.
