Summary

A three-quarter length portrait of Mrs Duxbury and her daughter, who are both elegantly dressed and stand against an indistinct shadowy background. Mrs Duxbury, a young woman in Edwardian dress with red hair, stands on the right turned slightly to the left with her arm about her young daughter's shoulder. The girl, in a fur coat and hat, stands close in to her mother's left side.
