Summary

Public: Dinner plate, bone china, painted in underglaze blue, overglaze turquoise and white enamels, and tooled gilding in the Sevres Revival style. Private: White plate richly decorated with blue and raised gilt tooled bands: the outer band is white decorated with gilded flowers and terracotta diamonds; followed by Mazarine blue border with short line of gilded and white flowers alternating with gilded and white flowers in a basket; turquoise, bleu celeste, band with classically inspired gilded floral decoration, pendent husk motifs and swags of white beading. The centre of the plate shows a turquoise circle, gilt bordered, on a white ground, with a monogram in gilt "CAM".
