Summary
Circular slop bowl curving in to turned spreading foot, dry cane coloured stoneware body with glazed interior. Deep border of vertical engine-turned bands to lower body, applied relief decoration to upper body of neoclassical groups after Wedgwood, comprising from left to right, Domestic Employment, woman and two children, Bourbonnais Shepherd, Poor Maria, cherub with lion, cherub feeding deer, two cherubs with torches, surmounted by applied border of interlinked circles beneath rim. Footring, rim and narrow rib around bowl middle picked out in bright blue enamel.
