Summary

Tall rectangular tea caddy with chamfered corners giving elongated octagonal shape, short narrow cylindrical neck on flat shoulder. Bluish-white tin-glaze, painted on four slightly recessed straight sides with Chinamen and birds, two short sides with bird hovering above man with hand outstretched, two long sides with figure seated beneath a tree with bird perched on his hand, and figure standing with a parasol, bird perched on his hand. Corner panels painted with different stylised tree. Shoulder painted with four generalised landscapes, seated figure in one with arm outstretched.
