Summary

Flattened globular teapot on three mask and paw feet, with short cylindrical neck, tapering S-shaped spout and tapering loop handle with pinched spur at lower terminal. Shallow domed cover with flattened rim and Chinese kylin finial, with notched front paws. Body comprises very densely marbled blue, brown and white earthenware, giving overall speckled grey/brown colour, interspersed with patches of looser blue, brown and white.
