Summary

Public: Figure of Winter, woman standing on rocky mound and square plinth, pulling a cloak about her shoulders. White earthenware, painted in yellow, orange, brown, green and blue high temperature colours beneath a pearlware glaze. Private: Figure of a young woman dressed in a blue cloak with yellow ochre lining, standing on rocky mound picked out in green, brown, blue and ochre, with relief-moulded burning brazier between her feet. She stands pulling her cloak tighter about her shoulders with both hands. Square plinth with concave sides and chamfered corners, with relief-moulded borders of stiff leaves picked out in alternating brown and ochre, above single horizontal blue band. Blue pearlware glaze, pooling in crevices.
