Summary
Hollow moulded figure of a chained and muzzled bear, sitting upright on applied rear legs, with front legs stretched forward holding a cup to mouth, and relief-moulded circular chain around neck and across chest and back. Buff earthenware coated with yellow-cream slip, loosely marbled with dark brown slip to give streaky pattern with eyes picked out in brown spots.
