Public: Teabowl, soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed overglaze in black with garden scenes. Private: Teabowl, tapered footring, transfer-printed overglaze, black. Tea Party No.2 depicts man and woman seated on elegant bench, she passes teabowl and saucer to him, sword at his right. Front left laden pedestal table, distant left tree, garden landscape. Garden Statuary shows shell and scroll form surmouting elaborate pedestal, to left and right, balustrade. Right balustrade terminates at gate flanked by statues surmounting pedestal gateposts. Foreground, dog, left and garden roller, right. Garden landscape, trees in distance. Swimming Swan vignette inside well. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim.
