Summary

Public: Teabowl, soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed overglaze with a lady and gentleman standing in front of a guitar player and two figures, a fountain of putti and a goat on the reverse. Private: Teabowl with slightly tapered footring and everted rim. Transfer-printed overglaze, exterior, deep red with La Cascade, split into two scenes on opposing sides. On one side an elegantly dressed lady and gentleman stand to the left of a seated guitar player, with another lady and gentleman behind him among the trees. The other scene shows a flowing fountain of three putti and a goat surmounting a pedestal of dolphins, behind this are trees. Enamelled overglazze deep red band inner rim.
