Summary
Blue wool and silk; embroidered in two shades of dark blue wool in tent stitch, with vertical lines of white silk back stitching, on canvas(?); back of black sateen and lining of black and white striped cotton; low neck, front fastening with six blue pearl buttons; pointed cut away ends; two pockets each side; opening and pockets edged with blue serge; belt with buckle across waist at back. Worn by Mr Mackerness (donor's husband).
